A retreat among gardens, adobe and hills
Cabañas Elquimista is a retreat in Pisco Elqui, in the Paihuano district of the Coquimbo Region. Its cabins are fully equipped and built with natural materials such as adobe, stone and native Chilean wood.
Step inside and you will feel at home, with everything you need: bed and bath linen, antique and handmade furniture blending rustic charm with design. Most cabins have a fully equipped kitchen and terraces with spectacular views.
The cabins are spread among fruit trees and beautiful gardens, and the grounds have two large salt-water pools to enjoy and unwind.

Under one of the clearest skies on Earth
Pisco Elqui is famous for its starry nights, its pisco distilleries, the village of Montegrande, horseback rides and hikes. We are happy to point you in the right direction when you arrive.

From 15:00 to 21:00. Later arrivals must be arranged in advance.

No pets
Pets are not allowed on the grounds.
No daily housekeeping
To care for the environment we do not change sheets and towels daily. Stays over 4 nights can arrange it on arrival.
WiFi by the pools
It relies on the mobile antenna and may drop during high season.
Hillside grounds
Due to the terrain, the grounds are not suitable for elderly guests or people with reduced mobility.
Guests only
Pools and gardens are reserved for staying guests.

Steps from the center of Pisco Elqui
We are in La Ladera, about 800 meters from the center of Pisco Elqui (around a 10-minute walk). From La Serena it is about 100 km: Route 41 towards Vicuña, then the turn-off to Paihuano and Pisco Elqui.
